Good afternoon,
I created a rule that when an item is added to check list "Conditions" that i converts it to a linked card.
The parent card will have multiple condition items in the checklist so it may create 8-10 different cards.
I would like to create a button on the child card that would check off the item in the checklist on the parent card.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time
Button rule, "find the first card linked in attachments and check the item "Triggercardlink"
Couple of caveats with this rule:
1) Works best if you only have 1 card linked as an attachment on the child card
2) If the child card is on a different board to the parent, the person who clicks the button would have to be a member of both.
The alternative is have a done button on the child card, which sets the due date as done, then set up a rule "when the due date is complete on a card, find the first card linked in attachments and check item {triggercardlink}"

@Dreamsuite Mike I can't seem to make this one work. I'll explain it one more time so you can see where my error might be.
I have a board named K sales.
On this board i want to make a sale card.
On this sales card i can push a button called "service" that creates a checklist called "service" and at the same time it copies the card to a different board called "K Service".
I have it setup that when i add checklist items on the parent card which is located on "K sales" board. It also adds those same checklist items to the child board which is located on "K service board.
Where i am absolutely stuck is getting the parent card checklist items to automatically check themselves off when the child card check list items get checked off one by one.
Is there any way of doing this? Do i need to start from scratch and set it up differently or is this not possible at all.
