Hi, I am trying to find out if there is a simple solution for 'merging' a mirror card with its original card when the original card is moved to the same board as the mirror. Alternatively, if the mirror card could archive itself when both are on the same board this could be a perfect workaround too!
Thanks
Hi, Matt!
Try this:
when a card is added to the board, find a card titled "{cardlink}", and archive the card
This will work if the original card is moved onto a board with its mirror. It will only work if there is only ONE mirror.
If the mirror doesn't exist, then the automation won't be able to "find" it and it will just fail and do nothing.
Be aware that this will make an automation run on EVERY SINGLE card added to the board, though. If you already are using a lot of automations, this could be pretty taxing.
I haven't tested this yet, so let me know if it doesn't work for you!
Hi DiMaggio!
This is perfect, thanks!!

You might consider changing the trigger to "when a card is moved into the board" instead of just "added to," in order to reduce how often the command needs to run.
