Markdown support

Recently I was able to use markdown in card descriptions and comments. I remember I had to go to /labs page and enable that to be able to type normally in trello. Now that option is gone and I'm forced to use an atrocious, horrible wysiwyg editor. Is there any way to get the proper text-editing functionality back?

I can't continue using trello with a wysiwyg editor and will use something else until the bug is fixed.

The new editor was introduced March 2023 with the option to opt out in labs as you did: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/New-Editor-in-Trello/ba-p/2038725

Now the do not allow opt out anymore as they find the new experience finished

You are not the only person in here that hate the option is gone, but you can still just enter markup syntax and it will auto convert so personally I'm fine with the current editor
