I got a message that my free trail is over and I think I am on the free version. I am supposed to be an Admin on my bosses workspace but I notice I can't go in and add a board on his workspace. I can however see the boards he invited me to and add cards. How can I make sure my boss and I are linked up correctly (I should have full admin rights to his full workspace) and that I am using the full paid version (he said he is paying for 2 users)? It's not like I can find anything that says contact customer service. Oh how I hate not having that option. Please advise.
Thanks in advance. Brand new user here.
Brad
P.S. I see now below this is says Product Plan and Free is the only option to check. How do I direct my boss to go in and add me to his paid workspace? I went in through his account and I could not find anything...just invite to board and such I guess.
Hey @Brad Varing !
I totally get how confusing this can be when you're just starting out with Trello. Let's break it down:
Support Offering: Since you're on the free plan, you won't see the option to create a support ticket. That's a feature only available to paid subscriptions now. You can find more details about these changes here: Trello Support Changes.
Workspace Access: From what you described, it sounds like you're a guest on your boss's workspace. To get full admin rights, your boss (or any admin of that workspace) needs to add you as a full member. They can do this by going to the workspace members page, finding you in the guests section, and clicking "Add to workspace." Here's the link to the workspace members page: Workspace Members.
Paid Subscription Status: It seems like none of the workspaces you're part of are currently on a paid plan. It's possible your boss's workspace was on a trial that has now ended. If your boss is sure they're paying for two users, they might want to double-check their billing info or try upgrading through the Trello Pricing Page. If the workspace is already paid, it won't let you upgrade again, so that's a quick way to check.
Hope this helps clear things up! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Cheers,
