Description formatting closes cards

In the description field, whenever I try to change into Bold or Italic any text, it closes the card. It doesn't happen every time, but very often.

That does sound quite weird, would you mind doing a few troubleshooting steps to see if you can reliably keep this from happening? 

1. Browser Issues: Use Trello in incognito/private mode, or try a different browser to see if the issue persists. This would help us see if any extensions or similar feature are acting up here.

2. Clear Cache and Cookies: This can resolve many loading and functionality issues.

3. Keyboard Shortcuts: Can you check if you're using any shortcuts to make the text bold/italic? Those could be triggering your card to close if they use the Esc button, for instance.
   
   

Lastly, I'd recommend checking if you don't have any additional peripherals connected acting up. Since clicking outside of a card or pressing Esc could close the card, it might be good to check any connected mouses and keyboards!
