[Trello Holiday Calendar] Day 22: Manage Custom Fields across multiple cards

day-22-custom-fields.png

If you are a Project Manager, you probably already know about Trello's Custom Fields. Chances are you are using it on a daily basis. Maybe you even have hundreds or thousands of cards with Custom Fields on them. If you do, then you know that now and then comes a time, when you need to update big part of them in one sitting. Not a problem if we are talking about 3-4 cards, of course. But, what if you have been on vacation for the last three weeks and now have to catch up and update tens of them? Chances are this will not be the most productive quarter of your first day in the office, will it? 😉

There is a simple solution, though. With Bulk Actions Power Up  you can update Custom Fields on tens of cards in one go. This includes no-trivial operations like, incrementing number fields or shifting date fields by a specific number of months.
All you need to do is select the cards in question, click "Custom Fields" in the top menu, choose the field you want to modify and make your changes. That is it! You save time and that post-vacation after-glow with one easy operation. 😀

@Alex G_ thanks for the tip! Great way to make edits to these fields so you can quickly can get to actually doing the work rather than organizing it!
