[Trello Holiday Calendar] Day 12: Bring structure to your Trello Board with the Matrix view

Bring Structure to Trello with the Matrix view.png

Hey everyone

It may only be day 12, but we’ve been gifted some awesome tips and tricks that can bring a little extra magic to your Trello boards. Thanks to everyone for their posts and thanks to @Brittany Joiner for making this possible!

Let’s kick off today with a way you can bring structure to the cards in your Boards. Whether you are managing multiple projects, need to carry out risk management, or want a better way to prioritize your work, the Matrix view is a great way to do all of this and more, within Trello.

How does it work?

The Matrix for Trello Power-Up adds the Matrix view button to the top of your board:

Once in this view, your Trello Board will be transformed into a two-dimensional grid where you can easily drag and drop cards into the right position

The matrix can also be exported or printed, making it perfect for team planning sessions and continuing the conversation outside of Trello.

Try it for free

There are two versions of Matrix for Trello available; Free and Pro, with the latter offering even more customization. Be sure to check them out!

Happy Holidays :raised_hands:

Thanks @Brittany Joiner! The Matrix view certainly adds another dimension to Trello and in the Pro version you can add extra rows/columns and also change the names of them to exactly what you want :)
