When I use the markdown [text](link), the new editor will always include an extra ) when I'm done editing stuff. It will correctly link the text, but it'll become something like `Linkedtext)` with the closing parenthesis unlinked.
The new editor is handy, but I need to have some 2nd- or 3rd-level items in my list. I can't figure out how to indent them other than to switch back to the markup language.
I don't see an option on the Bulleted List menu, and there doesn't appear to be a keystroke that will work, either.
Nooooooo! Not another WYSIWYG editor that gets between me and Markdown. Please PLEASE make it possible to avoid this editor. (I see from a comment above that you can turn it off, although why this wasn't explained ahead of time is beyond me.)
By this point in my career I have had to endure literally dozens of markdown editors and all of them have niggling problems. I don't want to take away from people who do not know markdown. But I don't want to be a guinea pig for semi-successful editors.
More importantly, WYSIWG is zero value and restricts the markdown that is used. Full GH flavoured markdown would be very welcome indeed. Along with the ability to drop in dot notation, maths notation etc.
HAllO Trello Team, why on earth you have to change inserted links??? Please Reply: what for, what sense does this make??? Need to know how far I can rely on Trello or do I finally have to move to something like Odoo
Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

@vertikaldienst Links to Trello cards should still be displaying the name of the linked card. Could you share an example of the URL you're using and a screenshot of what you're seeing? Feel free to remove any identifying information from the URL; I just need to see the structure of the URL.
Is this setting per-browser or per-user? I just had to disable it again, unexpectedly, as markdown stopped working again.
This "clippy for trello" mode does not work as advertised and I would appreciate not having to turn it off repeatedly in order to be able to use markdown.
Please STOP changing the Cover Colors! If you want different colors, please just add more and don't change the existing colors. I use different colors to represent different things and it really messes things up for me when they keep getting changed.
In the editor, there is a way to see the markdown it uses. Can I EDIT in that markdown?
The reason I switched to trello in the first place was the super simple and effective editing it gave me. For example, I email something to a card, it invariably would show up all mangled because Outlook sucks. So I would just go in and fix it, no big deal. But now I can't easily do that. I can SEE in the markdown where it is messed up but the editor makes me jump through all kinds of hoops to fix it. I think it's great that you added more editing options, I'm just really frustrated by not having the powerful ones as well.
So my questions in priority order:
Can I turn off this editor?
Assuming I can't, can I edit in Markdown?
Assuming I can't, and I have what I see, can I have a way to clear ALL formatting? The clear formatting function today is a bit broken, e.g., I can't clear formatting to remove a code block.
Received a notification today (in a distracting card header) that this will be a forced change as of the 15 August. Very disappointed with the continuing trend to de-technify Trello and other Atlassian tools.
Please do not enforce this change - I would strongly prefer to continue to use the markup text editor.
