What is Atlassian?

Hello, I am new to this and was looking for a video on the community video library to understand what this is and how to navigate it. However, I don't seem to see any videos that tell me what Atlassian or Jira is/do. can someone please point me in the right direction.

That's a huge subject, and a "video" isn't going to help you much.

Jira is an issue tracker (with a lot of additional functionality layered on top so it can do all sorts of things).  See https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira

Atlassian is the company that wrote Jira, and still owns and maintains it, alongside a much broader set of software systems that do other things (wiki, git management, builds, ITSM, and and and).  https://www.atlassian.com
