How many time can I fail the Jira Fundamentals Final Assessment before being locked out permanently?

I have already failed the assessment once, and the program said I would be locked out for 24 hours. That period is up, but I am hesitant to take the test again because if I fail, I am unsure if I will get another chance. (Note: I am referring to the free Jira Fundamentals Final Assessment beginner course.)

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is no "permanent lockout". 

The 24 hour block is just to stop 'bots hammering the site and handing a flag to their owners.  As a real human, you'll be able to keep going.  And Atlassian will never lock you out of trying again.  You don't need to hear how many of their exams I have failed, it should be about how many exams everyone have passed!
