I get a lot of people asking for training on the Jira Work Management product. Given that the templates for these projects are so different to Jira Software, it would be great if there were some options to train people in these.
Is there a roadmap to add some videos? Or better yet, create a Jira Essentials Training Course targeted specifically at JWM.
If there are some videos already available can you please point me to them so I can share. I haven't been able to find any yet.
Hi @Lauren Allen , thanks for this question. We don't currently have any JWM training videos or courses. That said, requests like this help us prioritize our content roadmap for future. JWM is certainly looking to be a priority for us in 2023. We don't have any hard dates yet, but we'll keep this Community group posted as we continue our planning. Thank you for your patience.
Thanks @Andrew DeBell great to hear it may be on the roadmap soon.
As an ATP I can confirm we get fairly regular requests for more information on JWM so if there is a way to count this as coming from more than 1 person when considering the prioritisation that would be great. This year alone I have probably been asked upwards of 50 times and I'm sure my colleagues get asked on their consulting gigs regularly too.
For myself, I would absolutely love to have an option to deliver Jira Essentials where the student can choose JSW, JSM or JWM as the focus. I recently delivered a combo Jira Essentials and Service Request Managment Essentials as a team course to get an JSM flavour. It worked pretty well, but was a big day and needed a bit of extra hand holding when switching between lab workbooks etc.
Unfortunately not even that is an option for JWM, but I will keep an eye out for updates in 2023.
Thanks!

@Lauren Allen in case you were still in the market for a JWM course. Here you go :) https://university.atlassian.com/student/path/1554210-get-started-with-jira-work-management?sid=e06a1b5d-f4e8-48f2-b144-8046bf8ae341&sid_i=0

Thanks @Javier Angel this is great. Any news on if/when an ILT version of JWM training will be available?

@Lauren Allen ILT I am unsure about this now, but if I find/hear anything, I'll be sure to return to this thread to share.
I know that we have a few more JWM university courses coming very soon and that a handful of webinars are currently on-demand.
If those don't meet your needs, then again, I'll be sure to circle back when ILT is mentioned :)

I think @Lauren Allen is looking for Jira Work Management training, not JSM.
Sadly it indeed seems that there are not yet courses available for JWM.

@Lauren Allen while this does not address the medium you are looking for, I do have a training recommendation for JWM. Atlassian Community Leader @John Funk published the book on the platform - Jira Work Management for Business Teams - which is a great treatise on JWM and will certainly help you and your team build the skills needed to master the platform. Good luck!

Thanks for the plug, @Andy Gladstone !! I hope the book would be of help to you. I also encourage you to attend JiraCon22 today. I will be doing a talk on Jira Work Management at 3:45PM CDT.

@Andy Gladstone Thanks for the heads up on the book! I will check it out and share that link if anyway asks about it.
@John Funk I am hoping to catch up with the event after the fact. Unfortunately being in Australia has it downsides when trying to attend all the excellent events that come up!
I've been using JWM myself and we regularly give demos to customers, but it would be great to be able to provide official training when it's requested. It will be nice to have something JWM related in our ATP arsenal.
