1. Setting up whiteboard sessions before meeting so that people have more time to come up with ideas to solutions prior to meeting
2. Using Looms to share context on a request or explain how to do things especially when working with many stakeholders
I plan to use Jira and the whiteboard tool in my upcoming projects. These tools are good for transparency and efficiency.
My main take aways were the Async Ideation - I like the idea of having a collaborative whiteboard and you have X days to fill this in.
In addition I like the Atlas approach, we have used the tool in the past but not to its full capabilities. We are attempting to use it again by asking team how we can make it work better for them.
our team typically uses async approach the most since we all have different schedules we use jira worktools for commenting and backlog work making it easier to communicate each document with one another prior to our sync meeting.
I am going to bring in Confluence videos and Jira software with me to teams in order to make the use of the time and resources we have for async tools. These tools are easy for teams to understand and can allow for all sorts of edits to be done all at once.
I'd like to try setting up Confluence-based standup meeting notes. Saving time by allowing members to look into past notes an information that was discussed would be invaluable.
Using a whiteboard for everyone to work on when they are available and not only during specific hours would be significant for reducing wasted time.
Already using slack and confluence. Also, Jira timelines. So much meeting reduction is gain and save time for just quick alignment.
I really would like to try out loom, since it scales into other async approaches, by enabiling you to show others how an async method or tool is intended.
I am looking forward to using Jira and Atlas.
We will propably try prework and loom because many of my team are busy and it's quite hard to find common time. Async tools helps as people can take part in the work in their own time and give feedback when they have a free slot.
