Hello My name is Tomi, and I was introduced to Atlassian a year ago, at my last job and have come to love how dynamic and overwhelming it is :) And have been teaching and applying my knowledge at the job and at home. I have also discovered Trello in my Business Analyst class and then again in Atlassian University's "How to Build Strategic Guidance." It is a very cool tool and plan to use it in my personal and professional life.
Hi @LIGP , that is a good question. I guess a good start would be to work with a company that is using Jira. That is how I got my start.
I use Jira with my partner and kids because organizing our schedules is a nightmare. Still easier than Jira administration at work, though! :D
Welcome aboard!

Hi @Tomi Ferrell Welcome to the Atlassian Community,
Hi @Tomi Ferrell, welcome to the Atlassian Community. Glad to see you like the Atlassian tools. I also use Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) for personal use (projects at home, vacation schedule etc).

Welcome @Tomi Ferrell
Hey @Tomi Ferrell
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Trello, just like other Atlassian Tools, is life changing!
@Tomi Ferrell Welcome to the Community! I also love how fast and easy is to just "do the work" in Jira instead of configuring and tinkering with other tools that are everything except simple and fast.
Let's enjoy!
