Update in confluence calender doesn´t synchronize with outlook calender

Hello,

I have set an appointment in Confluence Calender and deleted it afterwards. The appointment was taken over in Outlook Calendar, although it can no longer be found in Confluence Calender. How do I get the appointment deleted from Outlook?

If you setup your subscription properly they should be removed when you sync.  I would double check your setup.  https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/subscribe-to-team-calendars-from-microsoft-outlook-1044780452.html

The initial iCal sync works but updates to the Confluence Calendar are not synched through to Outlook. I can add amend or delete events in Confluence but there is no update in Outlook.

You will need to use an iCalDAV for two-way sync

Subscribe to a Team Calendar from Outlook (Windows)

There are two ways to synchronize your calendar in Outlook:

• Two-way sync (CalDAV) - allows you to view and update Team Calendars events in Outlook. This option requires a free CalDAV Synchronization plugin for Outlook, and is only available for Windows users. 
• One-way sync (iCal) - allows you to view, but not update, Team Calendars events in Outlook.

2-way Sync works fine (CalDAV) and I now note there is an option in the CalDAV Synchronizer to select a mono-directional sync.

however, my initial question was about iCal which syncs fine on the first attempt but never appears to update when the Confluence calendar is amended.
