We just started using Team Calendars because we hoped to be able to collect all of our scheduling dates from various pages into one calendar view. These dates are created with the date macro ('//').
Is there a way to auto populate these dates and their associated text and possibly meta data into a Team Calendar?
If not, what is a good way to create a common calendar like view of all of these dates?
Thank you.
Hello there David!
Exporting the Date Macro dates into Team Calendars is not currently possible. With this in mind, we could create a page and then, insert a Team Calendars macro into it.
The macro has different view modes, such as:
- Month
- Week
- List
- Timeline
Auto population of a Team Calendar with Date Macros dates is not currently available. You could manually create a page and also a new calendar in Team Calendars:
- Create a new page (make sure the necessary users have access to this page)
- Insert the Team Calendar macro
- Select to Create New or Already Existing
- Select the view mode (Month, Week, List, Timeline)
- Publish the page
Let us know your thoughts on this David!
Hi
Has there been any update on this?
We have a form for upcoming requests and would like them to auto populate the share team calendar.
