We're on Confluence Data Center 8.5. I want to be able to select which events on my Outlook calendar get imported to my Teams calendar. Is there a way to do this?
All I've been able to do so far is import the entire Outlook calendar (which I don't want—too many irrelevant events), or manually create duplicates of the individual, relevant Outlook events in the Teams calendar (which I also don't want—duplication of effort).
Hi there @Angela L_ ,
As far as I know, you could only do this with a third party app.
I work for yasoon and we're developing an app called Outlook Calendars for Confluence. The app enables a real-time integration of Outlook calendars in Confluence, no sync needed.
For your use case, you could work with filters to only show specific events in your Confluence calendar: Outlook Calendars for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace. The app is available for Data Center and you can book a demo here.
Of course, you can check out the other third party apps here: Confluence Calendar apps | Atlassian Marketplace
Best,
Britta
Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately, I'm not able to pay $3,500 per year on top of the $$$$ we're already spending on Confluence just to get this feature.
For anyone else looking for a solution that you don't have to pay extra for, what I ended up doing was creating an entirely separate Outlook calendar that has only the specific events I want, and then subscribing the Confluence calendar to that Outlook calendar by URL. It works fine, and the little effort it took to move all of the needed events from the original Outlook calendar to the new one was well worth it to save thousands of dollars.

Hi @Angela L_ , sounds like you found a good solution for your use case. I understand that this single feature was not a reason for you to get a paid app.
