I guess its related to https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcal/export-team-calendars-content-to-other-calendars-240913738.html, however, I have mentioned the steps that I followed when migrated spaces from Confluence 5 to Confluence 6.

  1. Go to calendar view in old Confluence 5.5 and export to iCalendar format.
  2. Go to Confluence 6.3 and create a new calendar.
  3. On the create new calendar dialog box, click import Calendar.
  4. Provide name of a calendar and select your saved iCalendar from desktop.
  5. Click on Import.
  6. Note that you have recreate the custom event types (probably with exactly the same name as in your old calendar) if using custom events.

Hope this helps!

This process works but unfortunately every item will import into the new calendar as "event". Previous event types will need to be recreated and reassigned to the original event.
