Statuspage Webhook Subscriptions for Individual Components

Caleb Bolden August 21, 2023

We have enabled webhooks for statuspage notifications, however our users are unable to subscribe to individual components via webhooks. Component specific notifications seem to work for sms, email and slack notifications. Has this feature been enabled for webhooks?

Hello @Caleb Bolden

This is Mubeen, I will be happy to help.

The component Subscription option is available for the Webhook notification method. This can be modified in two methods.

- As discussed in the documentation here The subscribers need to select the Subscribe to updates button, on the Statuspage, enter their email address, and select Subscribe again. From the next window, it will allow users to select the specific components that include Webhook notifications.

- The 2nd option is as a product Admin user you can go to https://manage.statuspage.io/ and select Subscribers > Go to current Webhook Subscription > Select recently subscribed URL > After validating subscriber info Select "Manage Subscriptions" from this section you can select the specific Components the Webhook URL need to be subscribed to.

If you are finding any technical difficulties with the details shared then you can reach us with the page details at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ so we can have this investigated from our end.

I hope the information provided is helpful.
