How do we ensure our Statuspage shows up in Search Engine results?

Our Gladly Status page is marked as noindex, which means that it will not show up in external search results if users are Googling “gladly software status” or similar phrases.

Our SEO team's recommendation is to mark the page as index so it can be found in search results. We discovered the page was not indexed just before the holiday break.

Can you shed any light on how this page can be indexed going forward, please?

Thanks for writing into Statuspage Community, I'm Talar from the Atlassian team, happy to help!

You can update this setting by logging into the Statuspage manage panel then: 

1. Click Your page from the left sidebar.

2. Click Page info from the second menu that appears.

3. Untick the box that says "Hide my status page from search engines".

4. Click Save.
