For each incident template, I'd like to customize the message per status (investigating, identified, monitoring, resolved), so that the message will be appropriate for that point in the workflow. There is pre-populated copy tied to the incident status field but it isn't specific to the template. Is it possible to have messages that populate based on the template AND the status?

At the moment, it’s not possible to customize the pre-populated message in Statuspage based on both the incident template and the incident status (investigating, identified, monitoring, resolved). The incident templates allow you to customize the message for a specific template, but these templates aren't dynamically tied to different incident statuses.
As a workaround, you can manually customize the text for each incident update by selecting the appropriate status (e.g., Investigating, Identified) and adding the specific message you want for that point in the workflow. However, there is no feature that automatically updates the message for each status change based on the incident template.
