sourcetree loses links to submodules after "reset"

I have a sequence of commits which I need to unite into one. And one of them contains a link to submodule.

I reset all the commits with option "mixed" and commit again to create one big commit. I get the changes I need except of a link to a submodule.

How to fix that? Could you at least say how to do that with terminal/console in OSX?

Yeah I've experienced this annoyance.

After creating your 1 big commit, create the submodule and commit that but choose 'Amend last commit' and it should combine the submodule definition with the previous big commit.
