I used sourcetree for a while and tried to upgrade to a new version of sourcetree. During the installation, I selected 'Atlassian account' and got error "We tried to load scripts but something went wrong...." due to old version IE 9 on my PC. I tried to upgrade IE 9 to IE 11 but got "did not install..." error with a dead link "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=299204". I have all the windows updates to meet "Prerequisite updates for Internet Explorer 11" and the error doesn't go away after I tried multiple times. At this point, I would like to know any other method to install sourcetree without touching IE, something like those earlier versions.
Thanks and best regards,
Jim
Hi
Can I suggest you try v3.0.5 and the new Bitbucket registration option?
It relies on your default OS browser rather than IE.
