Hi,

In git it is possible to call:

git blame -w "file-name"

in order to get the blame output to ignore white space. is it possible to override sourcetree's default blame command with the "-w" parameter?

Thanks,

Itay

This should definitely be possible, one way or another!

Options:

  • Checkbox in SourceTree settings for this (quite inconvenient for Atlassian, as there are many other parameters for git blame and they could change...)
  • Allow entering a custom git command to be used when "blaming a file". This would cover all current and future needs.
