Windows - Cannot see custom action output

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I have a simple custom action .bat file with just echo commands. I set it up in Sourcetree to show full output. However, I don't see any. My question is exactly this one: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Win-custom-action-output-not-shown/qaq-p/635411 but for me the situation did not fix itself.
