I've been trying to clone a website from pantheon.io, for which I have full permissions and have cloned it to other laptop and all.
However, when trying to Clone from URL and inputting the link, it prompt me to enter a username and password for https://(null. I have tried every password I can think of but it just won't work, and always keeps popping up with the same window:
I'm using SourceTree 4.0.2.
How can I solve this and effectively clone my website? I would like to try and avoid using git bash.
Hi @André Diogo ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Please follow the below steps
Go to Preferences -> Git and clicking "Use System Git".
After that Sourcetree remembers the password.
You can even clean install by following this documentation
