Our Computing department uses GitHub in their computing courses, but we have had difficulty with using the official GitHub for Windows client in that there is no way to control where it saves settings as it uses ClickOnce, so we are looking at alternatives, of which SourceTree is one.
On Windows, can SourceTree be installed for all users on a PC, and if so, where does it store its settings? Our students have fixed mandatory profiles, so ideally we would like for settings to be storable in a file in their network home folders.
Thanks,
