Unable to update or reinstall sourcetree

Hi,

today I noticed that SourceTree doesn't start. I have seen some suggestions here how to handle that but none of them was working for me.

Now I tried to reinstall SourceTree (deinstall/reboot/newversion). That fails now with the following log ...

What worked for me was uninstall .Net framework 4.6.2, then install .Net framework 4.7.

last try was with SourceTree version 2.1.2.5 on Windows 8.1.

Hi Thomas! That's a Squirrel installer error rather than a SourceTree error itself. Looking at the log it looks like it's been installed, can you check in %localappdata%\SourceTree\app-{version} ?

Can you also let us know which version of SourceTree and OS are you using?
