Unable to log into sourcetree, reset password 3 times

i'm trying to pull my bit bucket repo however, upon trying it prompted me for a login, this i have done many times before but this time it seems that my password wasn't working, i reset this password and then tried again although this still didn't work, i can for some reason log into the website using the password but not the source tree program.
anyone have any suggestions?
or is anyone else having issues?

Hi Stanley,

Our apologies for the hiccup; we'll need a few more details to provide guidance.

* what platform are you on?

* what version of Sourcetree are you using?

* are you using SSH or HTTPS for authentication to a repository or performing REST actions like listing your repositories?

I'm on windows

version 2.3.1.0

HTTPS I believe

plus if its any help, i can also sync my laptop using the same password and that so yeah I'm not getting the password wrong
