Unable to fetch/pull/clone/push a project

Joseph Tee Yong Han July 30, 2018

I was able to fetch, pull, clone and push since I started to use Sourcetree and git. But then this error appears out of sudden when I'm trying to fetch or pull, and I cannot do anything about it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false fetch origin
ssh -oPasswordAuthentication=no -oStrictHostKeyChecking=no: ssh: command not found
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Completed with errors, see above.

Are you on macOS or Windows?

I'm using Windows 10. But nevermind now, the problem has been resolved.

Glad to hear it's working now, Joseph! would you mind sharing how you fixed it, so it can help other users from the Community? :)

Have a good day,

Ana

I accidentally remove my ssh.exe file in Git folder by an antivirus software. So I solved it by just replace back the ssh.exe file in my Git folder.
