Unable to commit to the remote branch

I am trying to commit to the remote branch and I am getting the following error - 

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false -c credential.helper=sourcetree commit -q -F /var/folders/4k/jqxmrnjj6mj5hqdlk_ldk_2r0000gn/T/SourceTreeTemp.A6wGK2

env: node: No such file or directory

Completed with errors, see above

The commit is never pushed.

I fixed it by removing hooks for pre-commit
