Unable to clone a repo

I installed the latest version of SourceTree. When I set up I'm asked to configure BitBucket or BitBucket Server. Our organization has their own host URL. When I try to authenticate via that url it fails to log me in. I enter the username or email nothing works.

When I skip that and try to clone a repo it doesn't identify the repo as a valid git repo. The error says that it is unable to fetch the repo. In fact it is trying to go to the login page (Microsoft login)

Command: git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks ls-remote https://msstash.xxxxx.com/xxxxx.git
Output:
Error: fatal: unable to update url base from redirection:
asked for: https://msstash.xxxxx.com/xxxx.git/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack
redirect: https://login.microsoftonline.com/xxxxxxxxx
