Too many invalid password attempts

stderr: Logon failed, use ctrl+c to cancel basic credential prompt.
remote: Too many invalid password attempts. Log in at https://id.atlassian.com/ to restore access.
fatal: unable to access 'https://bitbucket.org/xxxxx/ooooo.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

I have logged in at https://id.atlassian.com/ many times. And I also reinstalled SourceTree. But, I still do nothing with my account in SourceTree.

Hi @wang kidd

G'day!

This issue usually occurs when Sourcetree is using an invalid password that was stored in your Keychain for mac and Password manager in Windows. It's advisable to remove anything related to Bitbucket before entering the newly updated password.

Also, it's advisable to use AppPassword because we are deprecating Atlassian account password on 1st March 2022.

Hope this helps

Cheers,
Syahrul
