If I click "File status", "History", "Search" or any other branch/tag items in the sidebar, it has a chance of not switching to the actual view of the specified item. What's more, the clicked item gets highlighted and doesn't react to any clicks anymore, so I have to click any other item so it gets opened and than click once again on the item I intended to open from the beginning. Let me describe it in steps:
1. Imagine File Status item is opened. I want to open History and click on it.
2. History item gets activated, but the actual History view doesn't get opened. The previous File Status view stays on the screen.
3. If I repeatedly click History, nothing gets changed. The sidebar History item stays active, but the History view still not visible.
4. I need to click on any other item then, like File Status or Search, so it is activated instead. Only then I can try to open History once again. Usually it opens on the second try (but it is still not guaranteed.)
The issue has been occurring for several years now on a daily basis, and it is very annoying.
You can easily reproduce it simply by clicking different items with varying interval between clicks. Eventually the selected item and the displayed view are out of sync.
