Specify host URL and credentials in Tools | Options

I've gone thru the wizard on initial program startup and must have done something wrong. I need to specify the credentials for my company's Bitbucket server but I don't see it in Tools | Options. And I deleted the only entry under Saved Passwords thinking I could add it anew, but no! There's the Edit and Delete buttons (both enabled) that do nothing. How do I fix this or start over from the beginning?

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

To fix that you need to open SourceTree and go to Preferences > Accounts. Were you able to add it now?

Cheers!

Ana

Ana, I don't have a Preferences | Accounts option. I'm using version 1.9.6.1.

I was able to fix it by going to Repository | Repository Settings... selecting Add, changing the Host Type dropdown to Bitbucket and filling out the Host Root URL and Username. This caused the entry to reappear in the Saved Passwords grid.

Thanks,

Brian

I’m glad this is working for you now, Brian. Have a nice day!
