I'm setting up a new Mac with SourceTree and when I connect to my Github account it only shows my public remote repositories.
It does not show private repos from my account or ones I have access to in another organization.
I'm pretty sure it did show this in SourecTree on my old computer.
In my Github settings > Applications > Authorized Oauth Apps > SourcetreeForMac:
- it says Access public information (read-only)
So can SourceTree only view public info?
I'm connected to Github through Oauth and SSH, however, when I save my account info in SourceTree a notification pops up saying:
Upload Failed:
There was a problem adding your new SSH key to your Github account.
Also, if I change Auth type from Oauth to Basic, then it shows ALL on my public and private remotes as well as every repo I've starred from other users.
Is there any way to get access to my private repos through Oauth?
The solution here helped gain access to my own private repos but not the private organization repos that I have access to:
