Sourcetree hangs outside VPN

Hello, I use sourcetree on Windows, both for work and personal projects, on various type of repositories. Recently my company gitlab repo has been made available only through VPN. From that moment on anytime I'm outside VPN sourcetree hangs. No matter what action I try to do, it is completely unresponsive (application not responding) until I get back on VPN.

This happens even if no project of that repository is opened. I also tryed unchecking the refresh remote state on background, it didn't change anything.

I tryed reinstalling it completely and adding only my BitBucket account and no projects, and the same thing still happens.

How can I investigate this further? What could there be still trying to contact my company servers?
