Sourcetree authentication issues even with GitHub personal access token

I added my GitHub personal access token to SourceTree. When I try to push an update, I get asked for my Gitbucket password but even after I enter it correctly, the pw window keeps popping up and I can never actually push anything.

I'm using Sourcetree Version 4.0.2 on Mac

Figured it out — it was such a basic mistake but might help someone else. I had to create a new app password for SourceTree in my Atlassian account and use that.
