Sourcetree Clone field returns invalid path error but path works in command line with 'git clone'

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
As per title. I can use the command line with
git clone url
and the repo is successfully cloned locally. Why won't the url work in Sourcetree?
