Hi, I have a new laptop (Dell) with Windows 11 and while I'm trying to clone a project from AWS the SourceTree (ver 3.4.7) is crashing. I think that it started when I'm setting the "CredentialHelperSelector" to "manager-core" and set "Always use this from now on"(Attached Image).Screenshot_4.png

Cloning from AWS to Sourcetree 3.4.7 crashes for me.

My workaround:

  • Use GIT directly to clone the repository (At a command prompt "git clone http:...." or latest Git offers simple GUI, right click in a folder and select "Git GUI Here")
  • Then use Sourcetree File\Open... and select the newly cloned folder to bring it into sourcetree

Commit, push etc then work fine.

Not an answer... just an update. I also have Sourcetree 3.4.7 but using WIN10 and I also have Sourcetree crashing when trying to clone from Bitbucket. Sourcetree validates the source repository as a git repo and while I navigate to my local repo it will crash. Looking for answers. I had the same issue when upgrading from 3.4.4. to 3.4.5 and had to revert back to 3.4.4.
