SourceTree not checking remote repository for updates

Since upgrading to SourceTree 1.3.1.0 SourceTree doesn't appear to be checking remotes for updates.

Nothing has changed in my network or server configuration, it just doesn't let me know that there are new changes to be pulled into my local repo.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I just updated to 1.3.1 and it fetched from my remotes automatically.

If you go to Tools > Options, on the General tab, is "Check default remotes for updates every x minutes" ticked and set to a resonable number of minutes?
