SourceTree keeps asking for my bitbucket password

I've tried several of the suggestions on the community page like setting GIT to the system GIT versus the embedded GIT.

My username is in the path, so it does not get confused with my bitbucket account for my other username.

I've verified my username and password on bitbucket are correct by logging in via the web.

I've been unable to push to bitbucket for weeks and I'm still paying my fees.  I need some help.  I'm not sure what triggered this issue, but it is very frustrating.  I'm sure there is some easy fix, but I've tried the recommendations on the community page and I'm stumped.

Hi Sam!

You said Sourcetree keeps asking for your Bitbucket password over and over, but what happens when you enter it? Does it say it's wrong? Does it go through and keeps asking again?

Can you send us a screenshot of the message you get (if any)?

For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried pushing using the command line? Does it work?

Let us know!

Ana
