SourceTree crashes on startup

SourceTree crashes anytime I try to start it up. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but that did literally nothing, because the uninstall didn't actually uninstall it. So I tried clearing out all the settings manually (which really should be a part of the uninstall process) and then tried uninstalling again. And that actually DID uninstall it, but reinstalling it did the exact same thing.

I can get SourceTree working immediately after I fully reinstall it, but as soon as I close it and try starting it again, that's when the crashes start happening.

Here is the information that shows up in the Windows Event Viewer, there are three entries related to SourceTree (any attached temporary files already seem to have been deleted):

Try to install some previous version from here:

https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/download-archives

I had the same problem (Win7) and was succeeded with v.3.0.17.

Ah, yep, I'm definitely on Windows 7. I didn't think to try older versions. That's probably the solution (at least until Atlassian fixes it on their end).

Thanks
