SourceTree and Git Flow remote branch delete on finish

Git Flow has the ability to automatically delete the remote branch (along with the local branch) of a feature/hotfix/etc after finishing using the -F option. The -F option fetches the remote branch before it deletes it remotely so you don't lose any work.

git flow feature finish -F branch_name

I looked around but it doesn't look I the Git Flow addon in SourceTree can do the same. Is there some way to have this option in Git Flow options in SourceTree?

On a side note, great work on the SourceTree app! The whole app is great and the Git Flow integration just tops it off. Very userfriendly and intutitive.

Sorry, this is for Mac.

Hi Grant,

We don't currently support this but you're more than welcome to raise this issue on under the SRCTREE project.

Thanks for your input, we really appreciate it!

I found this post after googling for a solution to the same problem. If you could add this function to SourceTree, it would be wonderful !

I too came across this issue. I found this fork of git-flow called the avh edition( fixes this behaviour among other improvements. Its actively maintained unlike the original. There are feature requests to integrate the avh version to sourcetree. Please vote for them. (Windows -, Mac -
