SourceTree Branches delete is disabled

I would like to delete a branch that I created. I am unable to do so. The "Delete branchd1" on the menu is grayed out.

Perhaps I can delete it outside of SourceTree but why is is grayed out in the first place?

I meant to see why is it grayed out, not why is is grayed out (I don't see how to edit a post).

This is not a suggested answer.

It will be greyed out if you are in that branch. Switch branch (to master) and then you can right click and the delete will be available.
