Hi Jonathan,
Sourcetree is a source control client for Git; it can open a terminal and allow you to run other commands. Robo 3T (Robomongo?) appears to be a dedicated GUI for MongoDB, that can open a terminal for you to run commands (like Git) as well; my guess is that they include more functionality for that particular shell experience.
My recommendation would be to use Sourcetree for Git interactions, and Robo 3T for Mongo explorations. It does require switching but hopefully we make it worth it 😃
