Prompted for credentials every time I touch remote, and wrong username is defaulted

Hi, when I try to use Sourcetree to interact with a remote repo, I get prompted for an Atlassian account login. This is awkward because I use SSO (namely Okta) to connect to my Atlassian Jira work.  Shouldn't it be the same for all Atlassian products?

Additionally, I have to do this once or twice for every operation communicating.  When the login dialog pops up, it is autopopulated with an invalid user name. I change the user name to the correct value, and supply my APP password. This works, however I have to do this twice for just about all my interactions with the remote, and the user name has to be corrected both times, so that is a lot of manual interaction just to use source tree. There is similar behavior using Oauth, except I don't have to change the user name, but still I have to re-login _twice_ every time I push, pull, or fetch. This is impacting my productivity.  Same behavior happens when using git-bash CLI.

Below should be an image of the login dialog, with the username blocked out, but it is not my current login.

So in short my question is about how to refresh the default values. I have poked around the Tools--> Options dialog in sourcetree and found nothing relevant. I was flailing for a bit there, so I don't remember everything I have done. Searching documentation returns a bunch of KB articles for Mac OS issues in 2016, which is completely irrelevant. I am on Windows 11, and this is a current problem, not something I can fix with documentation from 8 years ago. Thanks
