'Open in Explorer' button opens Windows File Explorer

I am trying SourceTree for the first time. Almost the first thing I did with it is press the Open in Explorer button.  It opened my source folder in Windows File Explorer which I don't use. Every other program I have installed that opens an explorer window opens my file explorer which is not the very limited Windows one.  Is there a setting to do this or is it hard coded?

For completeness I use Directory Opus and will uninstall SourceTree if this is a limitation.

Thanks in advance.
