One of the steps of SourceTree installation is entering your login for “My Atlassian.”
On one certain system (but not on other systems), the login does not provide a space (that is, a text box) to enter the password.
It seems as though some dependency is missing that MyAtlassin login needs.
Or perhaps, there is some firewall setting that is preventing the password text box from appearing.
I tried creating a new MyAtlassian account but that did not help.
