Steve I'm New Here Dec 20, 2020

Hi, I have read several article, but I still couldn't fix thing. I have a problem with my computer that setting embed in Sourcetree so I decide to uninstall and delete  appdata/local/atlassian, as like a lot of community fix does. But it turns out, i cannot fix it. They still ask me for Mericial(something). So I did several time, but still have no clue how to fix it. It stills get in the page "repository" that has remote clone and a lot of things, but just it clost automatically after it shows up for 10 secs

Hi @Steve ,

Welcome to the community! We are glad you are here!

Wish you a very happy new year!

Can you please try a clean install? The steps are as follows:

  1. Wipe SourceTree preferences
  2. Uninstall SourceTree (if it shows on the App&Features list)
  3. Backup then delete the directory below before proceeding with the next step
    • Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local and delete SourceTree & SourceTree-Settings folder
    • Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Atlassian and delete all SourceTree Files/Folder.
  4. Download SourceTree and install it.

Regards,

Soumyadeep (SaM)
