It keeps showing that password is invalid.

I've successfully logged in on sourcetree, but when I try to commit,. it keeps showing the crendential is invalid.

I can commit via git bash, but can't commit  via sourcetree.

How do I reset all credential and re-initiate login to commit?

I'm fighting the same battle. This process used to work, but no longer does. I have no idea how to resolve it.

CAPTCHA error when trying to perform an operation in Git or with SourceTree

Cause

  1. This error occurs because SourceTree is configured to remember your password, and you likely changed your password, so the background attempts to log in are failing

 Fix

  1. Open SourceTree, and navigate to Tools→Options
  2. Go to the Authentication tab
  3. Delete your old saved password(s)
  4. Click on your account
  5. Click the Edit link
  6. Click the Refresh Password button
  7. Enter your new password, and solve the CAPTCHA
